About me

My name is Elizabeth Schützenberger. I was born in South Africa and I am a trained opera singer. Nowadays I am a german citizen and I live in Passau. After my career on stage, I decided to follow my passion for the beautiful country that I am living in. I wanted to share this passion and therefor I became a tour guide. You can discover the beauty of Upper Austria, Linz and Salzburg with me, and of course also the mysterious Moldau region of Cesky Krumlov. I am a big nature lover, and would gladly take you on a hike, or a bike ride to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of Austria and Germany.

Get to know the local farmers on a visit to organic farms. You can of course also taste their own fresh products.

Elizabeth Schützenberger, born Immelman, studied music at the University of Potchefstroom in South Africa. She performed on the stages of Cape Town and Frankfurt, before she moved to Passau as an Ensemble member at the theatre in Passau. There she performed in many different roles as a coloratura soprano. She also was a member of the festival choir at the Wagner festival in Bayreuth for many years.

Since 2008 she has made a career change and became a full time singing teacher.
